proprio AFO Duo

More flexibility with a 2-in-1 orthosis.

What if an orthosis could adapt to the different situations children encounter in everyday life? That’s exactly where our new proprio AFO DUO comes in. What makes it special is its modular concept. The pediatric orthosis consists of an inner boot that can also be worn independently. It provides targeted support for the foot while allowing the child greater freedom of movement. The additional AFO with a posterior spring provides more stability and can be connected to the inner boot with a simple click. This makes it easy to switch between two levels of stability within a single orthotic solution.

Especially valuable for therapy

The need for more flexibility also comes directly from therapeutic practice. Particularly in active therapy, the goal is often to provide as much support as necessary while allowing as much movement as possible.

With the proprio AFO DUO, there is no need to choose between two different orthotic concepts. The level of support can be adapted directly depending on the therapeutic goal, activity, and everyday situation.

Two spring stiffness levels for even greater individualization

In addition, the posterior spring of the proprio AFO DUO is available in two stiffness levels. This allows the orthosis to be tailored even more precisely to the individual needs of the child right from the start. The flexible version can store and release energy to dynamically support the gait cycle. The rigid spring version provides additional support for the ankle and leg alignment.
