Select the correct resolution and screen ratio under "Settings".

First and foremost, you should make sure that no lamps or similar are shining on the scanner. However, if the scanner is placed next to a window, this can also lead to an undesirable effect. In this case, it is best to use a black microfibre cloth and place it around the patient's feet when scanning.

  • First of all, you need to call up the Measure module.
  • Then click on the "New scan" button
  • Now set the red line using the tolerance control. It is important that the red border wraps around the entire foot.
  • Then place the vertical red line in the correct position and click on the "Verticalise foot axis" button.
  • If you are satisfied with the result, finalise the measurement with the "Cut" button and the measurement can no longer be changed.
  • Select a library of your choice.
  • Give the insole a name.
  • Select the measurement (up to 4 measurements possible).
  • Select the correct parameters.
  • If you are now in the construction, the first step would be to position the measurement correctly on the insole. To be able to position the measurement, you must activate the button that is responsible for positioning the measurement. You will now see two active points on the measurement to be able to move and rotate this measurement.
  • If you realise when positioning the scan that the correct insole size has not been selected, you must select the correct insole size using the insole proportions.
  • You can also change the shape of the insole using the "Length allowance" and "Width allowance" sliders and the alternatives.
  • Then add the modules that you intend to use for the construction.
  • Check your internet connection.
  • If the internet connection is working, check whether there are any new updates provided by EasyCad.
  • First and foremost, make sure that the exported measurement is a BMP (bitmap) or JPEG. Other image formats are not supported by EasyCad.
  • If the measurement is displayed in the construction but the proportions are not correct, the DPI resolution may need to be adjusted. This setting can only be made by the administrator in the settings.
